I have done workshops with elementary and high schools, universities, hospitals, theatres, businesses, national festivals and I also coach people privately. During the pandemic I have been using my knowledge of light and sound from years of film, to help people master Zoom as a new platform for readings, theatre, or multimedia staging, with groups and individuals. From spoken word 101, to microphone workshops, to learning the language to speak with any technical director, sound or lighting crew in film/photography and theatre, I have a wide range of experience and knowledge. My aim is to give kind guidance that brings a new depth to your bravery. Click on the buttons to find out more details.

TELL ME MORE
A school workshop favourite. I speak about the history of spoken word and the phenomenon of poetry slam, then have the students participate in a slam with the group, as judges of either their own work, or videos of poets who are of similar ages.  I have a few other youth workshops, you'll see in the link.

TELL ME MORE
After decades of doing sound, lighting and photography professionally with film, television, and live shows, I know how to ask for what you need. The language that will have techs thinking you're a pro. Comes with a booklet as it is a lot of great information and new terms. For anyone moving up and wanting to know what they can ask for, and how to best do that.
